heavy summer

Having the chance to collaborate with any creatives is always an honor, but this shoot in particular felt extra magical. When Sarah reached out to me to photograph a concept she had, I was absolutely exhilarated reading her description: "This shoot is meant to honor the strange, slow, emotional weight of this past summer as it fades into the past and yet leave us forever changed. It will feature enormous floral crowns, ethereal gowns, and tons of pastels - everything both languid and light but large and heavy."
I was immediately intrigued and I think this team really came through and brought such an ethereal vision to life. This year has brought on so many challenges for everyone and this photoshoot almost feels like a breath of fresh air with a sprinkle of magic.  Be sure to also check out the accounts of everyone involved, as they truly make magnificent works of their own:
